I have always been interested in drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. From my 1st doodle to impressionism and beyond, has been an interesting journey of self discovery over 30 years. I started painting in oil; moved to watercolor and then acrylics.
I start my under painting in acrylics fairly loosely and thinly, until I achieve the effect I’m after. Then I add acrylic colors in impasto, leaving flickers of my first strokes to shine through and add a glow to my paintings. This combination works for me. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed painting them for you.
